We are delighted to welcome back British designer Orwell + Austen to ALC. As with all Orwell + Austen pieces, this Cashmere Blend Cardigan is soft to touch and a timeless luxury piece. Designed to be worn for all seasons, to be loved throughout and last a lifetime.

The Leopard Print Cashmere Blend Cardigan is an intarsia knit sandy brown and black design featuring a contrasting rainbow trim and mother of pearl buttons. The straight cut cardigan has a slightly shorter length that sits just above the hipline.

All O+A sweaters are safe to machine wash at 30. However, we recommend using a specialist detergent ONLY or hand wash to ensure longevity and less energy consumption. 

Sustainability

Socially ethical production is at the heart of Orwell + Austen. From the brand’s very beginning, they have worked with the same small, ethical, family-run producer in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal - an area globally renowned for the quality of their cashmere and knitwear products. The garment workers specialise in creating hand-knitted sweaters using traditional techniques. This, especially their skill, expertise, and craftsmanship, are all elements as to why O+A have always (and will always) strive to champion. Their number one priority is that they are paid and treated fairly for this, and the brand themselves pay a premium for the pieces. O+A use the term 'eco-conscious' to describe themselves; being only too aware that no fashion brand can be 'fully' sustainable.
